I can’t speak highly enough about Jharna and her team at Artistic Affairs!! Six months after our wedding we’re still hearing from guests that our wedding was the best that they have ever attended. Our idea of the ideal wedding planner was someone who listened to what we wanted, had enough experience and contacts to guide us in our decision-making, and was organized enough to keep all of the moving parts working on schedule. Though we were happy to find all of those qualities in the AA team, we were most struck by the amount of enthusiasm and affection that went into their work.

Our wedding events were AWESOME! She made sure every plan and detail was carried out to the utmost perfection. We had an issue where one of our venues didn’t allow some of the decor I wanted on the stairs, but she was able to trouble shoot and rearrange things last minute to look beautiful. I’m sure there were more things that came up, which they always do, but I would have no idea because Jharna and her team made it so that my family, my husband, and I were able to enjoy every minute of our wedding and not worry about any of the production details. We had full confidence in her ability to make everything work and keep inline with how we had envisioned the day.

Throughout the wedding planning process, Jharna listened thoughtfully to what my husband and I, and both of our families wanted for the wedding, and creatively came up with ways to ensure that everyone felt represented and excited about their contributions to the events. We were on the West Coast while planning our wedding and Jharna was very helpful in maneuvering the challenges that came with that setup. She introduced us to a variety of high quality vendors that we could evaluate either remotely, or on our own timeline in person. She never pressured us to choose anyone in particular, helped us figure out ways to cut unnecessary expenses and guided us on what was worth investing in to keep things running smoothly. In the end we were very happy with all of our vendors and relieved by how easy AA made it to find them.
THROUGHOUT THE WEDDING PLANNING PROCESS...
Most profoundly, the AA team turned me from someone who spends most parties fussing over logistics, to someone whose only responsibility during the wedding was to show up. While expertly managing all of the vendors and insulating us and our guests from any problems that arose, the AA team doted on us throughout the wedding weekend. From keeping us fed, to rerouting the flow of the baraat so that I could sneak into the venue unobserved, to teaching my bridesmaids how to walk down the aisle in saris, there wasn’t a task too big or too small for them to take on.
MOST PROFOUNDLY, THE AA TEAM TURNED ME...
